Welcome to the Dirt Drag Racing Association

Plenty of racing from dirt drags to mud racing...

We had our first AMRA mud race this past weekend.  We had a great crowd considering the week of weather forecast was not good.  Add to that it was Memorial Day weekend and they had a big event in Colfax (La.).

Anyone that was at our event got to see some action-packed racing and plenty of mud slingin’.

This was the second AMRA event of the year.

There are still a lot of trucks not ready to race so we expect the fields to get even larger and deeper.

The next AMRA points race is in Monticello, Ark., on June 7th and we hope to see a lot of you there.

The next big event at the LORRP will be a 200’ side-by-side Arm Drop mud race on June 27th.

There will be a sanctioned DDRA race at Marksville on June 20th.

Also, please note, the DDRA race schedule for Panther Swamp Raceway has been moved to the LORRP. My buddy, Henry, is having problems with high water with his crops.  So he doesn’t know if he can be available to get his track ready.

Maybe next year we can get our Mississippi tracks involved in the DDRA sanctioned races.  We are still expecting some of those trucks to be at our next race.  If any of y’all DDRA members know any of those drivers call them and ask them to come race with us.

As far as the DDRA, we are growing a little every race as an association. Our goal is to recruit as many people as possible as drivers or associates members. This member base gives us power as a group for event sponsors, making deals with part suppliers, tires, fuel, etc.

With event sponsors we can pay more prize money, buy bigger trophies, and have better race tracks.

This association is for all of our benefits so let’s get involved and recruit members.  Our side-by-side Arm Drop mud racing is also growing.  We hope to have a lot more trucks at our next race.

We think some of our horseshoe tucks will be there and maybe even some of our drag racing trucks will show up.

We have a few photos up on our DDRA website here just to tease you but if you follow each pictures’ link they will take you to Holley Lipscomb and Jettie Watson’s websites where you can purchase your favorite photos and videos.

We at the LORRP, DDRA, and the AMRA would like to thank everyone for their support.  See y’all at the races.
