Final Dirt Drags go Down to the Wire

The official Dirt Drag racing season has come to a close with lots of great races and close points races. Official results of the racing season will be formerly announced in the coming weeks.

The August 28th Arm Drop Mud Races at the Park will also include ATV races on the 200’ mud track. More details will be posted on the website www.dirtdragracing.com.

Don’t forget about September 11th End of the Year Fun Fest at the Park featuring the Solid Gold Saturday Night with WQNZ 95 Country radio station and “Country Boy” Mark Porter.

August 14, 2010 Top Five by Classes

Evan Parker pulls out this win against Bron Brown, but loses the the winner takes all rematch.
 
Jon Edwards' White Lightning takes this race and takes 4th overall.
Lamar Brown's BlackWidow closes the gap with the Money Pit.
They brought out the big guns to get the track ready Saturday.
Saturday was Jonesville native and Baton Rouge resident Randy Baker's birthday and anniversary so he came up to the races to spend quality time with his wife Phyllis, son Bo, and daughter Holley.
The gangs all here with Brittany (from left) Molly, Wyant, Avery, Slayter, and Chase.
The Death Valley Racing Team starts their racers young.
With such a great family setting the children almost outnumber the drivers like Hayden Brown of Jonesville.
When the trucks are racing there are plenty of great graphics to look at like this hood graphic on Crazy George Butlers truck.
Eight year old Hunter Covington from Clinton, La., sure knows how to cool off on a hot summer day at the races...
