Dirt Drag Racing Association Adds New Twist

The Louisiana Off Road Race Park will host sanctioned Arm Drop Side-by-Side Mud Drags Saturday, May 1st. The Dirt Drag Racing Association, who sanctions the event, has added a little twist to the lineup with the first ATV side-by-side mud races on the Arm Drop track.

“We have a lot of interest in our side-by-side Arm Drop Mud Races,” co-owner of the Park and President of the DDRA David McMillin said. “There’s always been a lot of interest in racing ATVs so we are just going to try combining the two, so it should be two great events.”

Gates will open to the Park at 10 AM with ATV and Truck Registration starting at 10:30 AM. Truck Tech will begin at 2 PM with the ATV Races starting at 12 Noon. Heat Races for the Trucks will start at 4 PM.

The 60-acre park contains ample parking, restrooms, concessions, and souvenir t-shirts. Bleachers are available but you are welcome to bring your lawn chairs, grills, smokers, and ice chests (please no glass containers).

The Park also offers self-contained R.V. parking and camping space available for the weekend.

Admission is $15 for adults; children 12 and under $10; and free admission for children under five.

0-499 CC Single Cylinder
500 and up CC Single Cylinder
500-800 CC V-twin
801 and Up OPEN

Entry Fee is $20 in the single elimination format with one buy back for $10. Buy back money goes to track. Payouts: 100% of Entry Fees; 50% for 1st, 30% for 2nd, 20% for 3rd.
